The baby can have low birthweight, get a pack of cigarettes and look at the warning on the box!. It specifically says that women should not smoke while pregnant!. I did a report recently in my bio class about smoking, and they stated that cigarette smoke contains OVER 4000 chemicals, ew!. Imagine all those chemicals going through your blood, through the umbilical cord and the baby being forced to endure them!? Plus studies show that smoking causes the body, skin and organs to age faster, you will die like 8 years earlier than you would have if you never smoked!. So if its that harmful to an adult imagine!. I tried smoking a cigarette 1 time while I was pregnant and it made me so nautious I threw up!. Its just a nasty habit!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
it can cause the baby to be deformed, or mentally handicapped, and it can create an addiction to smoking for the baby, or lung cancer!. i depends on how much smoke the mother inhales!. if she herself is the one smoking while she is pregnant the baby can be miscarried and/or be born with deforms!. like!.!.!.!.have brain,heart,and lung problems or the baby could end up suffering from downs syndrome or mental retardation!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well iff she smokes its horrible but iff lets say u smoke and shes always around you i honestly suggest to stop its very bad for the baby causes brain dammage and lung damage and stuff so its horrible!. Hope this helped!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
