Mirena IUD removal question?!

Question: Mirena IUD removal question!?
I want to get my Mirena removed, but I don't want it in my medical records (yeah, yeah, I know)!. If I go to a different doc or a clinic to get it removed do they report it to Mirena!? I know the company tracks the insertions!. I'm hoping an actual doctor's assistant or someone can tell me!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
I would be shocked if anyone would bother to contact Mirena with the removal!.

The report the insertion so the marketing department can mail you to remind you when it is time to replace it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Why don't you want it on your medical records!? They're completely confidential, and the information is important for your doctor to have!. Either your doctor is going to think you still have the IUD, or they'll think that you never had it all (if you concealed the fact that you had it inserted also) Either way it's going to interfere with their ability to provide the best medical care possible!. It's a really bad idea to keep secrets from your doctor, and I don't see why there's a reason to do so!. For every person that is too embarrassed to tell their doctor that they're sexually active or a smoker, there's 5 patients that the doctor sees who smoke like a chimney, snort coke, drink daily, have 9 STDs and 20 sexual partners!. They're not going to judge either patient!.

They'll probably record that they removed IUD #whatever for reason whatever, but that information won't be attached to your name or anything that identifies you, and I doubt that this information will be relayed to the company unless there is a recall or something!.

There will be a record at whatever clinic that you choose to have it removed at that says you came in at this date to have your Mirena removed, but it's unlikely that any other doctors or clinics will see this information!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
