Ok so this has been bugging me for a little while now, Both my breast seem to be ok, at least the right ones does, however the left nipple is different from the right a little!.
I am 20 years old, have no children and am reasonably active!. I am not on any medication, but 2 years ago I took the pill which caused me to stopped getting periods, and I have not had them since, every doctor I go to is saying "oh thats not too bad, thats common", but I really dont think missing your period for 2 years is normal!
Anyway, in the last 2 months or so I have noticed my left nipple is always harder than the right!. Not the actual nipple itself but the skin around it gets very tight when i get a nipple erection!.
This is very difficult for me to explain but on the right nipple the skin around it kind of scrunches a little when it gets hard as I am guessing is normal!? but the left one does exactly the same although it seems to scrunch up a lot more than the right one!. The left has also started to get sore in the last few days, it often gets erect randomly, whereas my right nipple is affected by temperature etc, the left just does its own thing, and often it will "invert" as such!.!.!.well not really invert like all the way in, but its almost like the nipple has just sunken in a little when its not erect!. It only really starts to get sore when the nipple is erect!.
There is also a tiny dent under the nipple on the left!.!.!.I have an appointment with a specialist tomorrow and wont be taking no for an answer, but I would like to get some more opinions!.

I'm a doctor even though i dont specialize in O&G medicine, i still have great knowledge about the breast and its pathology!.
First of all i want to let u know that there are some anatomical differences btw d left& right breasts!. Left breast is bigger in general size or nipple size as evident in about 65% women!.
Secondly, i also want to let u know that the nipple or even breast can get bigger[hypertrophy] or more pigmented if it's more used or involved than the other one as in romance or constant rubbing involving much of this left breast than the right!. This does not indicate any sign of infection or pathology!.
Finally, i would want u to examine ur breast for the ff signs of cancer, mammiloma etc!. Common signs[clinical features] of breast infections &cancer include: -painful nipple, -redness of nipple, - warmth of nipple -unhealthy secretions from breast in non lactating women, -presence of lumps in breast which can be felt on palpation etc
My advise: i don't believe this is a case of cancer of serious infection of ur left nipple or breast BUT pls SEE that doctor tomorrow!. GOOD LUCK Www@Answer-Health@Com

Anything that is abnormal to you should be checked out!.An invert or "invert" is VERY important to have checked out!.Good Luck!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

you are describing a condition that could have a wide range of causes, for example, the blood supply to the effected nipple could restricted, in that when they become erect or hard the blood cannot easily pass back out!. Just one possible cause!. another is a condition specifie to that exact loaction which is unlikely but not impossible!. your local GP will be able to help you with this!. i would suggest visiting him/her sooner rather than later as this could be an early symptom or a larger problem!.
