Answers:
Tampons are cotton or rayon, sometimes with a rayon sheath, bullet-shaped plugs that you insert into your vagina to a absorb menstrual flow!. They have a string on the end that you use to pull the tampon back out!. They are on-time use, and can only be left in for up to eight (8) hours!. There is a small risk of something called TSS (toxic shock syndrome) so you need to watch yourself for any signs of becoming ill when using a tampon!. They can sometimes be painful to remove because they soak up all fluid, including the vagina's normal mucus lining!.!.!. This makes it very dry and gives lots of friction!. Because they are one-time use, they can be expensive and can greatly contribute to garbage!.

Menstrual cups, like tampons, can be worn during swimming and exercise!. Menstrual cups are very flexible, bell-shped silicone cups which can be reused for up to 15 years (depending on manufacturer)!. Basically you just fold it up into a certain way and then insert into the vagina so it can catch menstrual flow!. There is no TSS risk, it doesn't disturb the vagina's normal lining, and they create very little waste due to the reusable nature!. They are more expensive initially, but quickly make up their value!. They can be left inside of you for up to 12 hours!. Go to a website like menstrualcups!.org where menstrual cup users can help you find the right cup for you, there are various sizes including for teens and for ladies who have had children!.

Period belts I'm assuming are special belts that go around the waist, and that reach down to attach to a menstrual pad to keep it in place to catch menstrual flow!. I've heard these are quite bulky!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hey,

I can give you a bit of information about the different types of female sanitary products available!. Firstly Tampons are a tube of absorbent material, such as cotton, that comes in various sizes that fit snugly in the vagina to absorb the menstrual flow!. Many women use these as they can be worn for up to 8 hours and can even be used during swimming!

Menstrual cups are a reusable menstrual cup around two inches long and made from soft silicone rubber!. It is worn internally like a tampon but collects menstrual fluid rather than absorbing!. Unlike tampons the Mooncup is not a disposable product, so you only need to buy one!. They are very good for the environment!! Visit www!.mooncup!.co!.uk for more information on these!.

I hope this information is helpful!!

tampons are a small cotton peice that you put inside of your vaginal area to soak up the blood so that you dont bleed on your clothes and stuff!.

period belts, i thought they stopped using those years ago!. they are a belt with clamps that hold a pad- like underwear
a pad is a cotten thing you wear on the belt [or it has a sticky bottom and sticks to your underwear] so you do not bleed on your clothes and stuff!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

you put tampons "up there" to stop the heavy flow of blood!. the tampax brand is pretty good and there are instrucions that show you how to put it in!. they are good at night but you can wear them all day as long is you remember to change them!. you should still wear pads but you get less blood in them!. hope this helps!!Www@Answer-Health@Com
