how do i tell my mum i got my period, but the problem with writing a note is she'll say why didn't you just tell me then what would i say!?

Just go to your mom and show her your bloody underwear!. you should have told her before, when you first got it!. But now, just say, "mum, i like, got my period, so what do i do with my underwear!?" and if she starts talking about it, then listen and then go "got it" and change the topic to something she can be engaged in!. don't feel awkward with your mom, she IS your mom, you know!. good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com
Just say "i got my period"!. It sounds hard, but it's really not!. No offense, but I think you're overthinking this!.
It's not something you can control, all girls get their periods! She's probably waiting and wondering when you will get yours, so she's prepared!. She won't be, like, totally shocked!. She'd probably be hurt if you didnt' tell her!.
It's not like you're telling her that you did something horrible, you committed a crime, you made a mistake!.!.!.this is a natural thing that soon you will get used to, and it's just a part of life!.

when my mom was putting me to sleep, i said, "mommy, i need to tell you something!. i dont really know how to say it, cuz, um i dont know how!. i uhh, im not in trouble or anything,and my grades are fine, but i need to tell you something!." if she doesnt say, want me to guess, just say it!. sooo hard (beileive me, it was, i was crying when i finally told my mom) but just say it! tell it this way so that when she finds bloody undies in the wash, or at your ext doctors appointment, it wont be a suprise!. just do it!

Just ccome right out and tell her!. You should be proud and she will be also!. And you may want to ask ur mom some question also , like what her periods are like, meaning, does she cramp alot, does she get migrains, is there alot of clotting, for how many days does she have hers!. things like that, cause it runs in the family those types of things!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
If I were you, when my mother comes home I would say mom may I talk to you in private!. Then I would say mom I think I am becoming a woman because I may have gotten my first period!.
