What can LPNs do and what can't they do?!
Question: What can LPNs do and what can't they do!?
like i have heard some people say that an LPN cannot start an IV and i have heard from others that they can!. so can somebody tell me about an LPN and what their roles are!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

LPN's Can start IV's, they just cant push certain drugs!. Only an RN can push these certain drugs!. They also cant draw blood from permacaths, triple loomins, etc!. Umm, they cant take orders from Dr's!. They cant wrtie orders!. There is alot of things a LPN cant do!. But they can do everything an aide does and a little more!. Its sad because LPN's do alot of work, and RN's do paper work!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
