i'm a 17 year old girl!. since i began puberty i've noticed that my areola on my left breast is different than my right one!. part of it is a lot darker than the rest of it and its kinda in little splotches but mostly on the left side of the left areola!. it hasn't spread since i first got it around age 13/14!. and there's one little bump where the dark places are!. i've been too afraid to ask my doctor since i still have to go to the pediatrician until i turn 18!. this seems like the only place that i can go to get help to see if something's wrong!. could this be breast cancer!? please help!Www@Answer-Health@Com

No you don't have breast cancer!. No two breasts are the same, and at puberty your body goes through many changes and these are normal!. If you're worried about seeing your doctor, see the nurse!. They are much better at giving advice about these things and wont make you feel silly!. If you're worried go and see someone, but you've nothing to worry about x Www@Answer-Health@Com
The left breast is always more developed than the right, so it could be that!. I highly doubt that this is breast cancer, but I'd say get an exam from your doctor(even a pediatrician)!. Like everyone says, better safe than sorry!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
why cant you go to an adult doctor!? breast exams- you can go for just that!. you are old enough- jeeze!. your mother needs to realize you're a woman!. anyway, I think its probably normal-Www@Answer-Health@Com
You shouldn't be afraid to go to your doctor whether they're a pediatrician or regular doctor!. It could be a weird birthmark or something but the safest thing is to get it checked out!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Yes!. it could be cancer and if it gets bad enough they may have to remove your breasts!.!.!. better to get it caught while it's not too late!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
