Question: Is there support for 16 year olds!?
Im 16, female, uk and ive been ill (undiagnosed) for about a year now!. ive officially left school and missed my exams because of illness!. im to sick to work and always at the doctors and hospitals for tests!. I was wondering if anyone knows of any kind of support thats out there for people my age and situation!? Im now having to pay for prescriptions and have just been told i have to pay

I would say speak to your gp and the job centre they may be able to help you with your finances I have not been able to hold a full time job due to doctors and hospitals and I dont know how I would cope if I didnt have some help they may be able to help good luck hope you feelbetter soonWww@Answer-Health@Com
Your guardian can claim for support on your behalf and if you go to the medical clinic for examinations, they will provide free medication and even free spectacles!.

Do you still live at home!? Maybe you and your mum could go to your local Citizen's Advice Bureau to see what support would be available to you!? Www@Answer-Health@Com
You could try and claim income support but they don't usually give it to under 18's unless you live alone!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
