Can I be stressed from lack of sleep and hormones?!

Question: Can I be stressed from lack of sleep and hormones!?
Hey! I was just wondering, I recently started my period and since then I have needed a lot more sleep than I did before then!. The problem is that I'm not getting all of it!. I am 13 and a half, and I get about 7 and a half hours a night (give or take a bit)!. I also run almost every day, and sometimes twice a day!. Lately, I have been feeling much more frazzled and worrisome, and though it has mellowed out a bit (It is hormones, I know, but I find myself sometimes worrying for silly reasons, and insulting myself, even though I am a positive person!.) I can't help but think it is because of lack of sleep!. In the summer, when I slept in, I didn't have these troubles, and on the weekends and breaks and when I get enough sleep I don't either!. Does this just mean that I need more sleep!? The worries really bother me and I am normally a lot more mellow!.
