When I'm on my period I have it for about 3 days then stop for a day then start again for about another 3 days!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You don't say what the flow is like when this happens!. If it's just a small after flow then nothing to worry about and you'll sort yourself out as time passes!. If you are under say, 18, and if you don't need the pill for other reasons and you can put up with the nuisance value of an interrupted period then stay with it for a while and see if your body adjusts!. Your symptoms are not unusual in girls starting to get periods and up to around 18!. If you don't care to continue as you are then go have a talk to your doc!. He may give you a short course of a medication which will fix the problem without having to go on the pill!. Give your body a chance to sort itself out into womanhood first!.
