Question: Effectiveness of the Yaz birth control pill in reducing moderate acne!?
I just started it today and the above question is what concerns me!. I have been on tretinoin, benprox, duAc, bactrum, etc!. to treat my skin condition!. They all helped significantly but eventually I either developed an antibiotic resistance to them or some kind of allergic reaction, so I feel this is my last hope!. How long did it take for the pill to work in clearing up acne!? Did you have any noticeable side effects like weight gain, spotting, bleeding, irritability, mood swings, etc!.!? My daughter was on YAZ for about two months, and we started to notice her face clearning up, and mood swings going away!. Unfortunately, after four months, she suddenly experienced extreme chest pains for no reason!. She went to the ER twice with the terrible chest pains, and when she told them she was taking YAZ, they told her to quit taking it!. She did, and has had no more chest pains!. Her doctor switched her to nuva ring, which is working well, and clearing up her skin again!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
