What is a reliable birth control method other than condoms and the pill?!

Question: What is a reliable birth control method other than condoms and the pill!?
I've been on the pill for over 10 years and recently went off it when I had a lapse in my health insurance!. I just restarted the pill but in the meantime I need to find something else quickly that will work!. I had planned on trying the Today Sponge but I'm having a hard time finding it and have read that it has been discontinued in the US again!?!?

I've been so used to using the pill for years that I'm ignorant as to what other options are out there!. I need something that won't take a month to kick in (like the pill)!. Are there other options out there that I can easily purchase over the counter!?

Thanks!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Go to your local clinic or gyno office and get the Depo Provera injection!. It lasts three months!. Its not super expensive either!. And it has a high rate of success, just as high if not higher than "the pill" and condoms!. Also be careful with these new kinds of pills, like the ones that you get your period less a year, because I personnaly know people who have gotten pregnant by accident using those forms of pills!.

I wouldn't suggest taking the depo shot!. Although it was nice only having to deal with getting a shot every 3 months, the mood swings it gave me weren't worth it, and I was on it for 5 years!. I've heard many stories from other women who have dealt with the same thing!. I never believed it was the shot that was doing it until I switched to something else!.
Two of my sisters have the norplant and they don't mind having them at all!.
For me I enjoy just taking the pill!. Its easy and simple, and you can stop at any time!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

try the nuva ring you wear it for a week change it, put another one on for a week and again for the third week and the fouth week you dont use one and that is the week you get your period!.!. it works pretty well!.!. :D

Ehh!. Over the counter can be hard!. There are spermicides and the morning after pill!. Depo is a good one because you only need a shot every few months and with most women you do not get your period on it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The most reliable form of birth control is abstinence!.

Try getting the shot or Norplant!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
