Can Cipro render the birth control pill ineffective?!

Question: Can Cipro render the birth control pill ineffective!?
I'm currently taking the BCP Seasonale (so I get my period every 3 months instead of every month) 2 weeks ago I came down with a really bad UTI and the doctor prescriped Cipro 500mg twice a day for 7-10 (I cant remember exactly how many days) days!. I also missed one pill in that week because I was so sick to my stomach I didn't take it!. Now for the last two days, I've been feeling extremely tired, nauseated, and my breasts feel like they've gained 10 pounds! Is there a chance I could be pregnant even though I've been on Seasonale for years!? I guess I should mention that my boyfriend and I did have unprotected sex about 3 times during the use of the antibiotics!. I took a test today and it was negative, but I'm thinking its too early to test anyway!. Any help and/or advice would be greatly appreciated!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Antibiotics interfere with your contraceptive pill, and your GP who prescribed them should have advised you to use other means of contraception!. With any luck you will be safe having used this pill for a long time, the heavy breasts and such could be a sign of a period on its way!. Go to the docs to be on the safe side hun xxxWww@Answer-Health@Com
