Do most 15 year olds use tampons?!
Question: Do most 15 year olds use tampons!?
what do you think!?Www@Answer-Health@Com
Answers:
I really think its totally up to the person, some girls are comfortable using tampons and some arent!. its totally your choice!. but im 14 years old and i have been using tampons for about a year now, and i think tampons are way better!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
I think they do!. However, there are things every teenage girl should know about using tampons!.
First, cleanliness is vital! Bathe or shower every day, using a fresh washcloth!. When changing your tampon, wash your hands first!. If you're away from home, if possible get a damp paper towel ready!. Remove your tampon, use the toilet if you need to, wipe as usual with toilet paper and then give yourself an extra wash with the damp paper towel!. Then you can insert the new tampon!. Don't try to flush the paper towel!. Don't flush any old tampons, either -- they can really plug up the plumbing, no matter what the package says!. Wrap your old tampon in toilet paper or the paper towel and dispose of it in the special receptacle, or if there isn't one, in the bathroom trash can!.
Some women save the cube-size Kleenex boxes and line one with a plastic bag to use as a receptacle at home!. When it's time to throw it away, they tie the top and dispose of the whole thing!.
There are different types and sizes of tampons!. Some girls find that Tampax and some other brands are too long!. A tampon stays in place better if it is entirely behind the strong muscle that's just inside the vaginal opening!. OB tampons expand sideways instead of lengthwise, and are generally short enough!. They don't have applicators, but if you are careful you can manage without that!.
Don't try to economize by waiting too long between changes!. First of all you risk leakage if you move too fast or there's a sudden increase in the flow!. Second, keeping one in too long risks a serious medical condition called toxic shock syndrome!. There should be a little white left on the old tampon when you change it!. For added security, especially on heavier days, you can wear a stick-on pad in your underwear!. The kind with "wings" stays in place better!.
Compared with the methods your grandmothers and great-grandmothers had to use, tampons are a wonderful way to manage your periods!. They let you suppress unpleasant odors, worry less about stains, and do almost anything you can do on normal days!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
