This is a personal choice that is completely up to you!. Some girls prefer to wait until they are going to be sexually active and then decided they are interested in shaving the vaginal area!. However, I think if you choose to shave that area, do it because you would like to, not to impress a boy!.
Personally, I started when I was around fourteen or fifteen for swimsuit season!. If you decide to do it make sure you use a good razor and moisturizing shaving cream!. Go down towards your feet!. If you shave up towards your head, it will be smoother but it will also get irritated and break out!. Afterwards, be sure to moisturize very well with lotion to prevent irritation!. Oh um!. I first did it at like 12 and I soooo did it wrong! I shaved like everywhere though!. I went a little crazy with the razor!. I would say that when a girl gets sexually active is a good time to start shaving!. Do research though because you dont want to end up with the razor burn from hell!. Trust me!. Not all girls do it and it is not necessary!. Most girls do it for a guy!. I have to now even though I get razor burn because I am so used to it now that if it gets to long it is sooo irritating! But honey, if you dont shave and are sexually active trim!. And you can do different things too!. Or just get waxed!. They will do it all! and I mean everything! Www@Answer-Health@Com
i don't know about a "good" age as it's just personal preference, not a mandatory thing!. i would say that if you're into your late teens and you're prepared for the possible complications from it (remember, it is a very delicate area after all)!. if you're younger than that but already shaving your legs and underarms, then maybe try a bit around the outside area and see how your skin reacts and things like that firstWww@Answer-Health@Com
I would not recommend shaving off your pubes!. If you cut yourself it's in a really awkward spot where there will be a fair amount of friction from your clothes and that could hurt a lot and not heal very quickly because of that friction!. If you only have a few or just not very much then I'd wait until they're fully grown!. Then go get them waxed!. And do NOT use Nair or anything like that on them!. truthfully, no age is a "good" age!. I wouldn't suggest shaving either!. It causes bumps and its is very itchy!. Trimming is better!. I trimmed for the first time when i was 16!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
