Self esteem issues... please help?!


Question: Self esteem issues!.!.!. please help!?
in august i got surgery on my ankle and i can just now start using it !. i gained a lot of weight , like 18 lbs!. me and this kid i really liked a lot were hanging out and we kissed and stuff and i was so happy, but it turns out he "was desperate" and his friend called me obese!. im 17, 5'6'' and 150 lbs!. ive never weighed that much, im usually a size 5 but im all the way up to a size 9 or 11!. i just got off medication for depression and now all this fat business is making me feel like crap!. i just need some good advice!.!. like i know i have to work out but i couldnt really do much except upper body during the last 2 months, and i eat really bad but i started a diet 2 days ago and its going really good!. but i eat soo much and am always hungry so what are some good foods that i can eat a lot of, be full, and not be unhealthy for me !? thanks in advance

Poor girl!. Read seventeen magazine's "Body Peace" articles in every single issue they put out!. They have good words of health and confidence!. Forget about what those guys say, they aren't worth anything!. Talk to friends and family for help!. You should also excercise regularly! Try doing dance videos, walking with your iPod, yoga, or pilates!. Those are fun ways to lose weight and they are healthy!. Never over-do yourself though!. Eat right! [fruits, veggies, carbs] You should also read books!. They will distract you temporarily and you may be able to find books with story lines similiar to your situation!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well if you are actually obese you should just try a simple work outs and eating right!. You will get back to the shape you want!. And to help your feel better talk to someone!. Or hang out with friends that you can trust!. Just don't think you are the only one and don't think you are alone!. Because you aren't and you should know that!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

every time u go to eat a cookie or jam a pop-tart into ur mouth think about this lad u like and go for a run or something!.

I am 5'6 too, and I don't consider 150 obese!. To me, I think it's a healthy weight!. Guys in high school are just too picky when it comes to what a girl should look like!. Merely because of what they see on tv!. Plus half the girls on tv look like they need to gain some weight!. As for healthy food to eat, I am not sure!. If you like to cook, check out some of rachael ray's food!. She cooks a lot of good food, but she cooks it in a healthy way so that you don't have that guilt weighing down on you!. I know there is this site called: sparkpeople!.com It's a website that helps you to lose weight and it is free!. You can join groups and met new people, plus they have a lot of healthy recipes too!.
