Question: Tampon Nightmare!!!!!!!!!!?
Ok so I know this is really gross!.!.!.but I need advice!. I just realized that I had left a tampon for about two days!. I had a really foul odor and cramping, then I found the culprit!. I am just so humilited to see a doctor, am I overreacting!? Should I just wait it out and see if I am okay!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I would call the doctor's office and make sure he doesnt want to just check it out!. There is something called Toxic Shock Syndrome, that you can get from leaving a foreign object in your body for a long period of time!. Even though two days is not that long, the cramping part bothers me!. I would advise you to at least call the doctor!. It happens a lot more than you think! I know people who have left tampons in by accident for over two weeks, because the string got lost and they forgot they had one in!. Good luck!.

I went to the hospital once for a bladder problem and they were convinced I had left a tampon in!. That was not the case but the e!.r!. staff was very respectful and says it happens quite often!. I would call your doctor to make sure and see if he wants to see you!. The doctor has seen this many times before and you should not be embarrassed!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
They're not supposed to be in for more than 8 hours, and even that's pushing it! You should definitely see your gynecologist- it might be a little embarrassing, but it's better than ending up with a serious health issue that could have been prevented, or helped had you seen her/him sooner!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Are you kidding!? You are embarrassed to go see a doctor!? You think this is the worst that they see!? Trust me it's not! You need to think about YOURSELF and your health---GO GET CHECKED OUT!!! You might have an infection---it's REALLY bad for it to be in there that long!

I just cant believe that I am reading this!.!.!. the exact same thing just happened to me less than an hour ago!.!.!. I noticed the cramping last night and then in the shower this afternoon discovered it!! What did you do!? Did you go and see a Dr!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

you could get tss ( toxic shock syndrome) you should probly get checked out just in case
