Can't get to sleep? Can some one out there help me please?!


Question: Can't get to sleep!? Can some one out there help me please!?
Ok well latly i havent bin able to get to sleep around midnight and it's horrible because i am a grouch the next day lol so I was wondering if you could give me any tips on getting to sleep faster!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

i have the same problem, if you can't sleep don't just lay in bed trying to sleep!.
-maybe go watch a movie,
-read a book,
-listen to some chilled out music!.
-have a hot milo, or hot chocolate before bed!.
-a hot bath/shower/spa!.
-don't eat just before bed!.
-try changing the way your bed is faced or angled!.
-change your pillow arrangement!.
-also there's this tension exercise you can do you start at your toes and work your way up the body, you clench or tense the certain part and count to 10 and then let it go, then move to the next part!.

some of these sound stupid, but trust me, they help!!!

anyways
stop watching tv an hour before bed and start reading
30 min before drink a calming tea(chamomile suggested)
15 min before brush teeth, wash face, ext!.
10 min before write in diary, this will help you vent and get everything that may be on your mind off your mind
and help you sleep
go to sleep and what i do , it may not be your thing, but whatever your religon
lay in bed and pray
im catholic and i dont attend church that often
but i pray everynight
its what i do when i dont have time to write in my diary
i sit in bed with the lights off and just tell god about my day
i ask him for help with struggles and ask him to help me make the right descions and bless others
this takes me about 5-10 min
but after that im almost out like a light!

Don't drink anything caffeinated after about 6!. Half an hour or so before bed start getting your room set up for sleep!. Turn down the lights, and the volume on the television (or better yet, turn it off completely!.) Lights and visual stimulation only make it harder for you to fall asleep!. Try sitting in a dark, quiet room before bed!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

lately i cant sleep either, sometimes im up to like 4 or 5 in the morning
laying there trying to sleep
i recently moved away from home pretty much all the way across the country
i had my puppy with me friends and with him to cuddle i always fell asleep right away
now that i dont have him i think thats what is keeping me from sleeping latelyWww@Answer-Health@Com
