Yes, it is perfectly safe (although a bit messy) for a woman to have sex while on her period!. There isn't any risk to the male and he should still wear a condom because the woman can become pregnant (though the risk is small)!. it wont cause infection but some women can get prego during this time and i would do it in the shower due to you don't have clean up and it is more fun!.some men prefer not to have sex with their women because of the mess!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
