Question: This question is about a friend who has a hard menopause !?
Ok here the situation ; she had taken hormones for 29 yrs but the doctor stop the hormonal treatment because she is 59 ; since then [ a year ago ] she has so many hot flashes that doesn't sleep all night ; and most of the time [ during the night ] she as to take a shower ; she is all wet like if she had walk in the rain !. Do you know any natural medicine who could her her [ SHe is not smoking and she is not drinking and she is not over weight ] Any kind of help would be appreciated Www@Answer-Health@Com

There is a board that she can go to and ask questions, etc!. It will probably be really helpful to her too!.
I have been in menopause for about 5 years now and have had terrible hot flashes and other symptoms!. It's really bad! Good luck to her!
edit: I used Oil of Evening Primrose and that helped!. I tried using a lot of Soy products but have to take medication for hypothyroidism and you can't use soy at the same time!.
Another thing she should do is have her thyroid checked!. If her TSH level is too high she could have hot flashes from that too!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
