so i took some antibiotics last week and now i'm having some vaginal itching!. normal stuff you know!. so i bought some vagisil for "fast relief" and felt like i was applying battery acid to my she-she! what the HELL is THAT!? what do you recommend for relief!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Wash off with cold water!. Wash really well, every morning or every night or even both!. Wear cotton panties!. All these things will help soothe your skin and prevent further irritation, but they won't necessarily help the infection!.

You have a yeast infection becasue all the good bacteria which normally controls the yeast has been killed off by the antibiotics!. Yeast infections can mean that it's very irritated down there - you'll want to get some monistat, or something like that!. I always ask for a prescription for treating a yeast infection too whenever I am prescribed antibiotics, as I always get one that way!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
If you read the pamphlet it does say you should feel some discomfort!. This tends to mean burning!. I have used monistat and I know that burned until the infection went away!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
A doctor - sounds like it may be more than just a yeast infection; unless you are physically allergic to the vaginal cream, I would be concerned that there may be some other reason for this reaction!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
