Answers:
Because you had a UTI the urethra lining would have been irritated by the bug!. Believe it or not some of this bug often affects the lining of the vagina as well but is not as noticable because there is nothing flowing out of the vagina - urine is an acid and will irritate inflammed areas!. Add to this that you had PMS and under the influence of altered hormones at this time your vagina lining may have been much drier than the rest of the month!. Dry vaginal walls alone can make intercourse burn or tender!.
Now, given all this and that the bug which causes UTI lives mostly in the urethra, and loves an acid environment, the meds to treat it reach it through the urine and kill it off that way!. The vagina, as I said, doesn't have anything flowing through it and, is much less acid which retards bug growth, the way the bug in there is killed off is by the medication oozing through the vaginal walls with the formation of the natural vaginal lubricant!. This is a slower process and the irritation caused by the bug in the vagina will take longer to be relieved than that of the urethra!.
For your next sex try using a lubricant until the vagina recovers fully from the irritation!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

It could be that you're really dry down there!. You should ask your doctor about methods and to test you for other things!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

well maybe you just need some lubricant! it will make it easier and smoother!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
