Skipping my period with the pill?!

Question: Skipping my period with the pill!?
I'm on the birth control pill Alesse and am dreading my period coming up next week!. I am considering skipping my period and just starting the next pack!. Has anyone here on Alesse (or another low-dosage pill) tried this!? I am afraid of spotting!.

Also, will it really make my next period that much heavier since I'm only skipping it this one month!? I asked this question the other day but didn't get what I was looking for!.

Thank you!Www@Answer-Health@Com

It is perfectly fine to skip your period while using Alesse!. Skip the entire placebo week and begin your new pack instead!. When doing this it is very common to experience some light bleeding or spotting, so don't be alarmed!. Just keep taking your pills and the bleeding should stop!. Your next period will not be heavier if you skip a period this month!. Many women take their birth control pills continuously like this for 3 or 4 months at a time and only have a period a few times per year (this is the rationale behind the pills Seasonale and Seasonique)!. It is not harmful in any way to not have a period every month on the pill!. Lots of women have breakthrough bleeding and spotting for the first several cycles while taking the pills this way, but it tends to lessen over time!. Hope this helps!Www@Answer-Health@Com

One thing girl! Why are you messing with your system!?!!? Unless you have some major illness please try not to do something this abusive to your body!. Your femininity is sacred, your body is sacred, respect the blood that flows from your womb!. I'm not trying to be preachy but first of all despite whatever doctors have to say an artificially induced birth control pill will cause hormonal changes and you wish to take another hormone pill to skip periods altogether!. I would sincerely advice you not to try these combinations!.

These are many other birth control options that are safe for you!. Why don't you ask your man to use condoms!? He doesn't want compromise is it!? So he puts your body at risk!. You can also try the coitus interruptus method for avoiding pregnancy!. If you notice my main problem is firstly resting on the birth control pills and then the compounded issue!. And if you have made up your mind please dont pose any questions!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

I dont take Alesse but do take Cilest and have commonly skipped my periods and just moved on to the next pack, this is a perfectly safe and common thing to do, especially for things like going on holiday or 'special nights' etc however a lot of the time i just skip it anyway!. I have never experienced spotting or a heavier period the following month - obviously everyone is different so if you are really worried then just speak to your GP, but there is nothing to worry about doing this! Honestly, I wouldn't skip to the next pack!.!.!.!.take the birth control as directed!. Now, I don't take that birth control, but I do take YAZ!. And at least with mine, the first couple of months on it, my period was normal, but after that it was only three days and very light!. So in my case it was well doing it the right way because I got rewarded with an easy pain free period!.!.!.!.

If you have one of those periods that are painful and last a long time, you will find that by following the birth control directions, you will have a lighter, better period!.!.!.!.just be patient!.

I hope this helped you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

well, some people skip the periods but its unhealthy!.
spotting can happen anyways even if you dont skip so you hsould wear a panty liner if you are worried about it showing but!.!.!.
idk!.
its your choice!.
it probably would make your period pretty heavy next time!.

ask your gynecologist or doctor about it next time but just have your period this time!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Doesn't sound like a good idea!. I would ask your doctor or something!.!.!. Even if you get the advice you wanna hear on here, it doesnt mean you'll have the same results!. Every person, female and male, is different and will react to situations differently!. So it is hard for someone to say its ok for you to without knowing you!. Save the time worrying and just call your doc or look up that pill online and find a number/hotline to call that they may have!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I'm on a different pill but I skip periods all the time!. I've never had a problem with spotting and I've never found my next period to be heavier!. Try it and carry some pantyliners in your bag just in case of spotting!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Unless you know exactly what you are doing, don't do it!. If you really do not want your period, there are pills the doctor can prescribe that only let you have a period every four months!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

the only pill i know you can do that with is yaz i am on a low dose loestrin 24 and i didi that last month cause i was in the hospital nad it screwed me up and i have been spotting for a month Www@Answer-Health@Com

Uggg!.!.!.take your medication as it was prescribed to you!. Better get used to your natural bodily functions, you're gonna have that period for years and years to come!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Um!. don't do that! it'll mess you body up and you body might acting out for you having a period now and longer!.!.so my advice just take the pill like you usually do!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
