Hey!. So my parents are making me go to a gynocologist!. (EW) I am super scared because I don't know what they can tell by looking THERE!. What can or can't they tell!. What should I expect!? Thanks!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I've had 2 pelvic exams, and they aren't that bad!. It's awkward, but it's not that bad!.
They will make you take all of your clothes off and put on a paper vest (in privacy), and then after a few minutes they will come back in and give you a breast exam!. It doesn't hurt, it's just awkward!.
Then they will have you lay on your back and put your feet up on stirrups, and they will insert a tool into!.!.!. well!.!.!. you know!.!.!.
It will hurt a little bit!. If you've never had sex, it will hurt!. But they may ask you if you've ever been sexually active and use a smaller tool!.
They'll put a long q-tip like thing, and swab the inside of you!. Then they take the tool out, and it's all over!.
It's not a big deal!. I was so nervous that I was shaking and almost crying both times I got one, but they're not so bad!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

When it's time to take the pap test, the doctor will need to use something called a speculum!. They insert it into your vagina and open it up so they can see inside and take the pap test!. The most important thing to remember is to relax when they insert the speculum!. That's how it'll be the most comfortable!. After the speculum exam and pap smear, they remove the speculum!. Then, they'll insert a couple fingers into the vagina and use the other hand to press on your abdomen to make sure everything feels okay!.

Wow, obviously the other person who answered your question is an immature idiot!. Anyway, don't worry at all about your appointment!. It is uncomfortable for you, but its the doctor's job, and for him or her its just like looking at your eyes to make sure its healthy!. The doctor will probably take a pap smear, and that is just a swab from your cervix that will be tested for abnormal cells, also they will be able to tell if your hymen is torn (usually signifying if you are a virgin); but whatever information they get from you is protected under doctor patient confidentiality, and your parents do not have to know about it!. A good doctor will make you feel as comfortable as possible the entire time, no worries :)Www@Answer-Health@Com
In most cases they can tell if you have had sex but they are NOT allowed to tell anybody your information!.!.!.!.even your parents!. They have to keep in private unless you want to tell them!.
