Adoption or Abortion? ?!

Question: Adoption or Abortion!? !?
As I'm sure you've read there is a lot of questions on here from young pregnant girls asking what to do about the baby!. Many of these replies suggest not having an abortion but going full term and having the baby adopted!.

Big question - Is it right to give birth to a child when you cannot be sure the child will go to a good adoptive home!? I will admit a lot of people have excellent adoptive homes with wonderful caring adoptive parents but what about those children who don't!? How can the mother cope knowing her child is out there somewhere !?

My personal opinion would be abortion!. I couldn't cope with the possibility that a child I had brought into the world could be unloved, uncared for, or abused!.
So what do you think!?
Please no anti-abortionists taking the moral high ground!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

hiya, there are so many childless couples out there, who would love a child!.nobody should take a life!.if any girl is pregnant, they can look for a mum/dad for there baby!.you can get to know the Futur parents, plus you can see what they are like as parents, whiles being pregnant, you can see if they are loving people, also you can find out if the baby will want for nothing!.that way you will know the baby will be well loved, and what for nothing!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It comes down to personal decision!.

Some women could be incredibly traumatised by being forced to carry a child for nine months that they didn't want, or that they knew they were going to have to give away!. Plus, there are far more children in care than there are prospective adoptive parents, why add to that figure!? A lot of adopted children grow up completely fine and a lot grow up f****d up - it's a gamble!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Adoption agencies are so strict about the families they deal with!. People would not be put through all the time, money and scrutiny if they really did not have a child!. Im pro choice, and as a mother at 16, I know how it is to choose!. But I knew whatever my choice, it was the right choice for me!. I chose to keep my baby, but if I was not able to keep the baby, I would have chosen adoption!. I know what these people go through, and while they may not raise my kid like I would have, they deperately want these babies and do the best that they can for them!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

if it were me in that situation and i was a pregnant, i would definately do adoption!. there are so many wonderful couples out there looking to adopt and i would personally choose which family to give my baby to!. Im only 19, so in actuality i would most likely keep the baby and raise it myself if it were me in that situation!. I could never live with myself knowing i killed a living being inside my stomach!. Remember that baby is half of you!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You can have interviews with the parents of the child to be born before the birth and this is a option that can be taken!. And I would rather know that my child was with a loving home than dead!. Some familys can't have children so adoption is the only way for them!.

Im 100% sure the baby will go to a great home if you decide to have it!. But, you have to think, will carrying a baby hurt my: job, education, or lifestyle!? I am pro-choice and I don't think it is wrong to abort a baby if you don't want ruin you life!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

That may very well be so for you, however the thought of aborting is often times just as traumatic for many women!.

The important thing is that as women we maintain our right to choose what is right for us as an individual!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

whatever you think is best but they most likely wouldn't give it to a bad familyWww@Answer-Health@Com

When choosing the adoption route, there are many organizations that have selected families wishing to adopt!. The family (husband & wife) will go thru screening to make sure they really want a child and can provide a loving home for the child!. It's not like in "Juno" where you can just pick someone out of a newspaper (although I'm sure there are people who do that, the dumbies)!. Going to a trusted agency to find a family who can better take care of the child is the way to go!.

Second, when giving a child up for adoption, the birth mother releases (or should) all rights to that child!. If she found a good family for the child, then it is no longer "her" child!. She shouldn't expect anything from that family, except maybe gratitude she was able to help complete their family!. I feel bad for adoptive children, who after 20 years of living with their adoptive family, feel the need to find their so called "real mother" just because she gave birth to them!. HELLO! The real mom is the one who raised you, and you should feel nothing but gratitude that your birth mother had the sense to give you to someone who could properly love and care for you!Www@Answer-Health@Com

With the high cost of adoption, I don't think anyone who wants a baby badly enough to pay $10,000 and up will likely end up neglecting the child!. The horrible abuses you hear about in the news are often from people fostering children or adopting older children!. So I think the odds are really low that a child adopted at birth would be in a horrible situation!.

To flip your question around!.!.!.I'd rather risk them not having a perfect childhood than ending their life!. Many people overcome bad upbringings and can still have happiness later in life!. If you end the baby's life before they're born they have no chance to experience happiness or anything else!. I couldn't live with myself wondering what my child would have experienced if I hadn't aborted them!.

Not trying to be judgmental, just my viewpoint!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
