Does anyone have Merina IUD and how effective is it?!

Question: Does anyone have Merina IUD and how effective is it!?
I have had mine in for 10 months and am very satisfied with it!. I do want another baby now but my husband doesn't think we can afford it so we went with an iud so there would not be any accidents, since neither of my children were planned!. I have never doubted its effectiveness but my husband still uses condoms!. he says he just wants to be sure but the sex isn't the same when he is wearing one!. how can i convince him that it is ok to stop!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
well i doubt you have your pamphlet still!. But in it, it says that the chance of a pregnancy is 0!.1 % with mirena!. But with you getting your tubes tied it is a 0!.5% chance!. So ask him if he would use a condom if your tubes were tied!? i bet his answer wuol dbe NO! and that is a higher chance then with a mirena!. If he is haveing a difficult time believing you, then talk to your doctor if possible!. Or just go to the mirena web site and have him read with you the percentages!. I think male steralization and the mirena are the exact same 0!.1%!. If none of that helps, im sorry girl, but you have one stubborn huisband, lol!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I am getting mine in tomorrow!.

The Mirena is more effective than sterilization!. It is 99!.9% effective!.

Hopefully that will convince him!. There is literally no more effective form of birth control out there except for not having sex at all!. It is the BEST ONE!.

20% of women stop their period as well!.

A minority experience side effects like mood swings, bloating, headache!.

Simply tell your husband that you've done the 5-year equivalent of tying your tubes!. If he is still concerned then he hasn't read the literature or has an unfounded fear!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Talk to your doctor, but with the physical bit of preventing implantation and the small dose of hormones, it's like 99% effective just like other birth control options (not all of them)!. I found it hard to trust it too, I'm only a month in with it, but the first time I had sex w/o a condom I was flipping out a little!. No worries though :) trust in the device, it's your friend!Www@Answer-Health@Com
