No!. The endometrial plaques which can form throughout the organs of the pelvis are usually very small, and cannot be resolved, even using vaginal ultrasound!. In some instances we can see blood filled cysts which may form from these plaques, called an endometrioma, or chocolate cyst, or we may see secondary signs of endometriosis such as dilation of the fallopian tubes due to blockage!. However, even if these findings are detected using ultrasound, they can only raise the suspicion, rather than confirm the diagnosis of endometriosis, and further investigation such as as a laparoscopy may be required!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
