What is a blood-clotting test, and what do they do!?
im anemic, and i was sent for a blood clotting test, but i hate blood tests, so what is the difference between bloodd CLOTTING and a normal blood test!?

there is no difference for you, they draw your blood just like any other blood test!. Then the lab performs various tests on the blood to see how it clots, how rapidly it clots and they try to find out the why behind the rate at which it clots!.
It's not time to worry, you have no results, and worrying won't change a thing!. When a person is anemic, it is common practise to check clotting factors, so don't freak out!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

its a test to see how thick or thin your blood is! if its thin then you may have problems forming a scab if you cut your self (hemophiliac) if its too thick you can run the risk of a blood clot in your arteries leading to a stroke! if you are anemic then they are checking for the first one, they can give you tablets for that and the test shouldnt be any different then a regular blood test, they are just looking for sample, its just the name they gave you for the test!Www@Answer-Health@Com
so far as the procedure to collect the blood, it will be the same as for your other test, the tube will just be a different color!.
