Of course I know about birth control, but one of the side effects is increased appetite, which is something I don't want to deal with!. Are there any other options!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you're after birth control go for Implanon, it's a little rod thats impregnated with a hormone that stops ovulation!. Insertion and removal is relatively painless and its good for three years and its side effects are very few!. the only one I have is irregular and sometimes prolonged bleeding but nothing I can't handle

You said it!!! Condoms are better than suffering the side effects and serious risks of hormonal BC!.There is also the copper IUD, that has no hormones, so no weight gain or anything annoying associated with synthetic hormones!. Weight gain is probably the one of the least bothersome side effects or birth control!. When I was on it I was CRAZY, I mean I was annoyed ALL DAY LONG, would snap at anything at all!. I didn't gain any weight, but I had daily headaches, NO sex drive and constant spotting as a result, plus I was risking blod clot, heart attack, and stroke!. So yeah, Hormone free IUD for me!! Not all women have those stupid side effects on BC though, I am just sensitive to horomones!. But PLEASE make sure you do a LOT of research on whatever it is you decide to use (pills,!. patch, shot, IUD, implant) so you know what to look for if you do get a side effect and need to know where it came from because a lot of women say they love their birth control pill or whatever but just don't realize that THAT'S the thing making them crazy and never want sex or get acne or hair loss or grow facial hair or whatever!.
