I have had very similar problems, if you call your doctor and explain that you have been feeling horrible and don't think you will be "up" to taking the exams I am sure he can write you a note to get out of them!. Good luck with everything, I know all about the bad headaches :(Www@Answer-Health@Com

Try getting a referral to a neurologist as opposed to a primary care!. If you're having headaches that badly, a neuro will be able to help you better than a general practitioner, and will likely focus on the fact that your headaches are getting worse!. They can't by law refuse a referral, and if they do you can report them to the state department of health!.

You are also entitled to a second opinion!. I would try to find another general practitioner that is more willing to investigate your cause!. It might take a while, but if you explain your symptoms to them they might get you in sooner!.

If all else fails, go the emergency room and they can refer you to a specialist!. Tell them your condition and they can help you better than a doctor who is evidently not willing to listen - and most hospitals will be more than willing to give you a CT scan to see if there is anything abnormal!. Good luck!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Just explain to your doc that it's been very hard for you to concentrate on your school work and ask for a note to get you out of school this week so you can rest!. (Say the headaches have been worse) =]Www@Answer-Health@Com
