Withdrawal bleeding from the pill?!

Question: Withdrawal bleeding from the pill!?
I had been on Ortho Tri Cyclen Lo for 14 months when I came off at the beginning of August!. I remember because I had finished my last pack, gotten the new ones filled, taken the first week, stopped, got my withdrawal bleed on the Aug 13, that lasted for a few days, then I had spotting on the 31 in the morning!. September 2, I started bleeding again!. It was heavy and had clots in it!. It lasted about 6 days!.

I thought it was my periods getting regular again, because they were regular, 32 to 34 days, before I started the Pill!.

Well, it's been 60 days, give or take, since my last period so I know my cycles aren't regular!. Home pregnancy tests are all negative, so I know I'm not pregnant!.

But is it normal to have withdrawal bleeding twice!?

And when could I expect my period to start!? Don't get me wrong, I love being able to not have a period, but I'd like to start trying for a baby this year!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

My thinking is maybe your body is just trying to get its self back on track!. I was on the same type of birth control for about a year!. When I got married me and my husband wanted to try for a baby, when I got off of them BC my periods would not come back regular!. The doctor put me on Provera to try and "jump start" my period!. It works really well!. You are doing the right thing by going to another doctor!. I wish you the best of luck, and I hope these all gets worked out for you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Its normal for your period to be weird and out of whack for 6 months or even more after you stop birth control!. If you've already seen a doctor, I wouldn't worry about it too much!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
