You need to tell your mother or father exactly what you have described here, and ask that they make you an appointment to see a gynecologist!. I know it may be embarrassing but 21 days is quite a long time to bleed!. You may be absolutely fine but why take the chance!. It's very good that you are keeping track of your cycles, it's a good habit to continue!. Information like this is important and often useful to your doctor!. I hope everything is fine, good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Your periods are irregular!. That's typical for someone so young!. With time, it can get better, more regular!. It becomes a routine!. Give yourself time to learn a few things about yourself and your body!.
Right now, it sounds like your cycles are heavy and very long!. It could get better!. Hang in there!.
A normal cycle lasts for about 3 or 4 days!. Anything longer than that, and you have probably menstruated so heavily you have lost too much sodium!. You can't retain your water, so it seems as if you just keep menstruating!.
You need something to eat to replenish your health and to get your sodium up!. Eat a bowl of soup, get a sports drink or some orange juice!. The sodium will utterly plug you up almost immediately!.
Be aware this could make you have cramps!. You will need to treat that immediately!. The cramps will make you seem to continue menstruating!. Don't take aspirin, it thins your blood and you will continue to bleed!. You can use a heating pad, take a hot bath or just take some acetaminophen about an hour ahead of time!.
This may make it go to a dark brown, it may make it go clumpy, but it definitely slows down!. If it doesn't work at first, of course, get more sodium!. Take your time, let you system adjust!. You have menstruated much too long!. You are weak and anemic!.
This may make you terribly thirsty!. Don't gulp it down fast, you could start menstruating again!. You may feel too warm, become sleepy, feel irritable, feel terribly hungry or have no appetite at all!. You may eat too fast and fill up too quickly!. Have patience!. Give it a couple of days from the last time you menstruated and you should feel like yourself again!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

everyone is different, but for most girls their period will be irregular for the first year or so!. What you have described sounds normal enough, there is a lot of variety that's still considered normal, so don't worry if your friends are having a different experience!.
The fact that your period has lasted 21 days this time could be a problem it if continues much longer or if you start feeling particularly tired or run down, if that happens see your dr, but otherwise it all sounds normal enough to me!.

Yes, when you first start off with your period it's not going to be regular!. It takes a while,be patient, and thankful you don't have to deal with it 12 times a year!

You should also inform your family that your period has lasted nearly a month!. Even though you've just started, something isn't right!. You need to go to a doctor to make sure your doing okay!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
