Bad pains after smear test?!
Question: Bad pains after smear test!?
I had a smear test done on Monday,the nurse said I might see some bleeding (but I didn't) but she didn't mention any other symptoms!.Monday night I was doubled over in pain,Tuesday I was still in pain and I also had the runs (sorry for the info) I had this right up until yesterday!.!.!.!.I still have stomach ache now,but no sign of bleeding!.Are these things normal after having a smear!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

i went yesterday and yeah today i was still a little crampy and not feeling well!. i usually give myself 3 days to get better, give your body time!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I am wondering if they used latex gloves!.!.!.you might be allergic to latex!. I would definitely call the doctor!. Is it a stomach ache or does it seem like an ache in your pelvic area!. Many doctors have stopped using latex for this very reason!.!.!.maybe until you can get to the doctors see if there is something online that tells about allergic reactions to latex when having your pap!.

It can manifest itself as conjunctivitis (pink eye), cramps, hives, rhinitis (hay fever-like symptoms), and severe itching!. I have never had this happen with a regular yearly pap!. If you had a colposcopy or ECC it is pretty normal to hurt!. If I were you and I was unsure, I would call the Dr tomorrow and ask if its normal!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
