Question: Question for women: Does having an orgasm ever cause a sharp instant headache!?
i have been experiencing sharp instant headache when I have an orgasm!. These past couple of weeks!.!. When im about to have one on the left side of my head a sharp pounding starts and it hurts soo bad where I yell at my poor husband to stop!.
Has anyone else experience this and how common it is and what causes it!. Anybody!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

It can and does happen in some women who are prone to migraines!. The reason may be due to the rise in your blood pressure during arousal and sex!. What you need to do is discuss this with your doctor immediately to make sure there are no medical problems associated with this such as elevated blood pressure or any other circulatory ailments!. If all is okay, he or she should be able to prescribe a headache preventative for you to take to halt the headache in its tracks!. It should not have to interfere with an active sex life!. Yes indeed!. It's called a post coital headache or orgasm headache!. They can happen out of the blue and then never happen again!. But if they persist you should go see your doctor as it could indicate something wrong like with your blood pressure or the blood vessels in your neck or head!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
