Verrryyy strange bleeding from my .. ladyparts?!

Question: Verrryyy strange bleeding from my !.!. ladyparts!?
I've been on the depo-provera injection for 2 and a half years (the 'stops you getting pregnant' injection every 3 months) which completley stopped my periods!.!. Yay! I decided to stop this medication in July, and the doctor told me it could take months to get regular periods again!. I havnt had any unprotected sex, so im not pregnant!. Phew!. I wake up this morning and as im walking to the bathroom, blood started literally pouring from my vagina!.!. Like a nosebleed!.!. I thought I had sub conciously wet myself!?! So I clean myself up and go lie down!. I fell back to sleep, and woke up an hour later, checked my pijamas and yep, no blood!. However, I stand up again and it comes back! It could be a period but I don't have any cramps, just strange sensations in my stomach!. (And the doctor told me my first period after 30 months on this medication would be!.!. Well!.!. Hardcore!) im just worried because normal periods bleed regardless of standing up or lying down!.!. But its only when I stand up!.!. Any ideas!? :(Www@Answer-Health@Com

There could be a number of reasons for this!. If you have a tilted uterus (many women do, it's not harmful) then laying down may preclude the blood from flowing as freely as it does when standing!. I would only start to worry if the bleeding like this lasts for more than a day, you have very large clots of blood being discharged, or the bleeding is so heavy that you soak more than three pads in half an hour's time!. You can always call your doctor and ask if you are concerned but I'm sure this will clear up in no time!. :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have no idea how to answer that question, but all I know is that you do not have to have cramps when you get your period!. I think that your system has gone haywire because you have just stopped getting the injections!. You body may not be able to adjust to the changes easily and the bleeding might be a sign of it!. My suggestion is that you get some ultra heavy flow pads and go see your gynecologist ASAP!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
