okay!. im going to say this simply as possible!. so theres something happens every month where one of your organs called an ovary releases a cell called an ovum!. its like an egg!. if you get sperm inside the egg by having sex with a man, the egg is fetilized and becomes a baby!. the baby grows inside of an organ called the uterus, also known as the womb!. when you are pregnant, your body creates certain things to protect the baby inside of your body!. one of these things is the endometrium!. the endometrium basically lines your womb!. the endometrium is made by your body every month, regrdless of whether theres a baby or not!. so every month your body releases an egg, so you can get pregnant if you have sex, and your body prepares for the possible baby and lines your womb with the endometrium!. if you dont get pregnant, theres is no baby, and your body doesnt need the endometrium anymore!. so the endometrium is shed and comes out of your body as your period!. it looks lke blood becuase it contains blood, but it really isnt all made out of blood!. hope this helpsWww@Answer-Health@Com
Menstruation or periods is part of our reproduction system!. Your uterus is designed to contain a fetus (growing baby), and the lining of it builds up a blood lining every month in anticipation of receiving a fertilized egg to nourish into a baby!. If no egg is fertilized, the blood lining is expelled every month as a period!. The physical answer is that the uterine lining sheds each month!. When an egg is fertilized, it sets into the wall of the uterus, and uses the lining as nutrition, so you quit shedding it, and quit having periods!. Birth control mimicks you being pregnant, so you'll usually have less periods, and you'll gain weight!.

I know why but I think you're asking something else!. Like why all the trouble just because you're not pregnant that all that would happen!. It sucks i feel like God punished girls to keep them virgins with periods so they would be more careful because they had to worry about pregnancy and not just have wild sex all the time lol but seriously!. I don't know I just feel it could have been done better unless it was seriously a punishment!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
A woman's body basically prepares itself for pregnancy every month!. The uterus builds a lining for a fertilized egg to attach to and grow!. A woman ovulates once a month, which is when your ovaries release an egg!. During unprotected sex, sperm might be released into the woman!. IF that egg is present, it most likely will get fertilized by the sperm, resulting in pregnancy!. That fertlized egg will eventually attach itself to the uterus wall!. If the woman's egg does NOT get fertilized by the sperm, your body will recognize that it is NOT pregnant, therefore it sheds the uterine wall which it had been building for pregnancy and TADA!!.!.!. you get your period! When a woman ovulates (the egg leaves the ovary and comes down the fallopian tube) the woman's body prepares for a potential pregnancy!. It engorges the uterine lining in preparation for a fertilized egg!. If the woman does not become pregnant, that lining starts to "break off" (sloughing) and the woman begins to bleed!.

Women get their periods becaue ur eggs ovulate whih means reales from your ovary into your fellopean tubes and then into ur uterus!. Then when the egg doesn't get fertalized it gets "thrown away" and that is our period happening!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
