Fertility mucus question?!

Question: Fertility mucus question!?
I'm on day 16 of my 31 (usually) day cycle!. I've been testing with ovulation kits for the past 4 days!. They have all been negative!.!. meaning my LH has not surged yet!.
Today, I had a huge amount of stretchy, egg white mucus!. I had to actually scoop it out of my panties (sorry)!. The ovulation test a few hours after this incident proved to be negative!.

What can I trust!? The large amount of seemingly fertile, ovulation-telling mucus or the ovulation test!?

(We want to have sex precisely on ovulation day!.)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
You get the sticky white "ovulation" mucous for 2-3 days, so either do the temperature method to try pinpoint when you have ovulated or the "spit" test is also reported to work well!. Write down all your info regarding mucous etc and then necxt month you will know what to expect and when to do the "deed" to hopefully make a baby!

Good Luck

Google the "Billings method" it will have alot of good info on the subject!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Why don't you have sex during the day that you have the EWCM and on the day that the ovulation test says your fertile!. Personally I would trust my body alot better!. You can also tell by your cervix position!. The more you get to know your body, the better you will be at calculating your ovulation cycles, then you won't need those ridiculous expensive ovulation tests!. Right below is a link you can use to get an idea of how to do this!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

I know this can be frustrating but I feel you are on the right track!.
The discharge you are experiencing does sound like ovulation!.

Without knowing the sperm count of your partner its hard to tell you exactly when sex should be performed in order to conceive!.
However if you had tested him for sperm count and it is relatively high have at it and have sex as much as possible!.
