Why can't I use a tampon?!
Question: Why can't I use a tampon!?
I physically just don't think I can!.!.!. I got my period 5 years ago and attempted when I was 15, I'm 16 now!. My friend even bought me special ones that should be easy to put in but still, nothing!. Yesterday my friend told me to look in a mirror as you are putting it in, and I just did and it burned like crazy and only went in about a centimeter!. It HURT and didn't even go in all the way!. Please don't say I should just use pads because it isn't just that, what about when I'm older and I'm ready to have sex!? I don't think I'd be able to!. Trust me when I say I CAN'T because I have tried to many times!. Advice!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

well if it hurt thaaat bad, then u probly have a small opening in ur hymen and need to get it stretched!. my friend had this and could NOT put in a tampon!. she told her mom that she could not get a tampon in and how much it hurt and her mom took her to the gynocologist and the gyno looked at it and said she had a veryyy small opening in her hymen and she needed to get it stetched!. she said it didnt hurt cuz they give u anestetics and now shes so happy she did it cuz she can use tampons even super sized tampons with ease!. I'm sorry you're having so much trouble!. Have you tried the ones with the smooth plastic applicators!? I personally find those a lot easier to insert than the ones you push in yourself!. The key is relaxation!.!. if you're tense & worried, your vagina will tense up too!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hun I know how you feel im 18 and I started my period when I was 11 I never could get tampons in even after i was sexually active it hurt way to bad to put them in I tried everything and nothing but one day i just told myself im going to get it in and i got it not even half way it hurt way to bad so I asked the doc and he said to try and go a little further than you normally would every time push it up another inch or so, so I did and when I was 16 I finally got them all the way in and have been using them ever since!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I was not able to wear tampons until I had sex!. Unfortunately, sex will also hurt you at first, but it is worth it when you are really in love with someone and have a partner who loves you!. He will be gentle and caring and take things slow with you!.
If wearing a tampon is really important, try a slender tampon on your heaviest day, just to get used to it!. My doctor also told me to try to put fingers up there to stretch things out!. It takes practice and you could also be nervous about it!. Try to relax!. Make sure you are putting it in the right hole!.!.!.!.May sound silly but, it can be confusing about where to insert it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
