It can also depend on the type of tampon you use!. I use OB because they are more discreet and have less packaging but they don't absorb as well as other brands (they tend to leak way before they should)!. I've also used playtex and find they work really well!. Try using different brands until you find one that works best for you!! Www@Answer-Health@Com
