I can't ever sleep....?!
Question: I can't ever sleep!.!.!.!.!?
I can't sleep!. I never can!. I lay in bed all night, tired, but still can't sleep!. Everyone in my family sleeps really heavy and tells me to "just turn my brain off and sleep because sleep should not be that hard" but it is!.
I think about things all night!. I can't seem to just turn my brain off and go to sleep!.
I actually was prescribed evening primrose by my doctor if that counts as a medication but I took it too early tonight so it wore off hours ago and I do not think that taking another one would be a good idea!. Yesterday was my first night taking it but I took it too early then too!. I think it will work once I find out how often to take it and when!.
So, I'm stuck awake again tonight!.
By the way, I've had this sense I was a baby, I'm in high school now!. Any ideas would be really appreciated!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

I used to have a similar problem!. Even when I would get to sleep I would wake up tired because my mind would be racing!. Now, I have a routine for winding down!. I don't eat anything 2 hours before bed!. I take a long shower and lotion up with Johnson & Johnson's Sleepy-time lotion (baby area)!. I spray my sheets and pillow with Bath & Body Works Stress Relief mist and turn on an old movie!. Nothing that is scary or too funny, but just something that allows me to watch it without thinking!. It gives my mind something to do and the next thing I know the alarm is going off!.
You may want to try establishing a "Go-to-bed" routine and once you find one that works!.!.!.stick with it!

i had the same problem!. I thought about things WAY too much!. The doctor told me to try and get all my energy out or read a book!. Reading a book simulates the back and forth eye movement done while heavy sleeping and this helped tremendously!. I also had leg pains (RLS restless leg syndrome) which was easily fixed by taking a multivitamin daily, vitamin C pill, and eating a banana daily!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
