I am on birth control to regulate my period, but I still missed it. Why?!
Question: I am on birth control to regulate my period, but I still missed it!. Why!?
I am taking FEMcon birth control pills, and I have been for just over three weeks!. I have been taking them so I can regulate my period!.
Yesterday, I starting taking my week of brown pills (the other three weeks are white) that I'm supposed to take to get my period, but it hasn't come!
I have "old blood!." It clots, and I use a pantyliner, but that's it!. It has happened to me many of times before, so it's no big deal!.
But I'm wondering why I didn't get it!.
Should I switch pills!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

You sound fine to me!. :)
It takes a while for the BC pill to kick in and start regulating!. Sometimes you won't have a period for a few months, sometimes it won't stop for a few months!. It takes your body 2-3 months to get use to the new hormones!.
Take you pills regularly and if you don't have a period in another two months, alter your doctor!. If your period shows ups and for the first two months is irregularly heavy, alert your doctor!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

With most pills your doctor will tell you it takes about 3 months for the pill to start regulating your periods and for your body to get used to it!.
I was on Seasonique and just spotted for 3 months straight!. So just wait a while and let your body adjust to it!. 3 weeks isn't long enough!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It can take your body up to 3 months to adjust to a new birth control pill so I would suggest just giving it time!. It's common to have irregular bleeding during that time!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
