Please help I am in a lot of pain?!
Question: Please help I am in a lot of pain!?
I have thought that I have had a bladder infection for almost a month, I normally go to the doctor as soon as they can get me in so that I can get on Antibiotics, but if this is a UTI, its acting odd!. Sometimes I have a little bit of pain sometimes a little bit of pressure, but all the normal symptoms come and go so I am not sure if I have one or not so I guess I keep putting off the doctor!.
I wasnt having any pain lately, but I woke up tonight and had to pee, so I did and after that I have a really bad pain in my urethra, it is like a sharp pain and it has been almost non stop for the last half hour, the pain has lessened however!.
I am also really really sick to my stomach and have been for about a week or so!. And I have on and off flank pain on both sides!.
I have a doctors appt!. for Friday (soonest I could get in) But im just wondering is it normal to have pain like this!? I have had a lot of UTIs but none of them ever gave me this urethra pain!.
p!.s I am not sure why I get a lot of UTIs but so do my mom and sister, and yes I pee right after sex, and wipe front to back!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I'd be afraid of it going into your kidneys, and it sounds like it already has!.
Go to the doctor, now!.
A kidney infection can be fatal!. I suffered a severe one years ago that did irreversable damage to my kidneys and I suffer every day because of it!.
Stop waiting and go!.
Just so you know, you can buy a kit at any well-named store that will detect if you've got a bladder infection!. Pee on the stick, it changes color, if you match up the right color, you've got an infection!.
Don't wait, go!.

I f the pain is that great you need to seek emergency care, go to your emergency room and seek urgent care, if you wait any longer this pain might get worse, so go asap!. your health is very important!. god bless!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I used to get bad UTIs, and i'd get pain after peeing, but that was fairly normal for me!.
Seeing as it's never happened to you before, and you have several other symptoms as well, going to the Doctors is your best bet!.
Maybe try another Medical Centre, see if they can get you in sooner, and if it flares up, please get yourself down to the ER to get checked out!. Better safe than sorry :)Www@Answer-Health@Com
