Question: Embarrassing female problem, please help, and don't laugh!?
Basically, when I have to pee, I get a horrible overwhelming feeling, it happens instantly when I feel the need to go!.
It can make it difficult to walk, it's so embarrassing, and if I don't get to the toilet quick enough, I will, and have, peed myself!.
I tried going to the bathroom many times a day, but it just did not help, it's like I have no control over my bladder at all!.
It's especially bad at College!.
I actually feel like crying now I've said this, but I really have to get someone to help me with this!
My Mum said it happens to lots of women, but I think she might just be humoring me!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

See your doctor, this is a common problem!.
You should try doing pelvic floor exercises as this is meant to help too!.

Call the hospital or your local Dr!. or heath dept!. and maybe you can get some free info!. I don't think you have a panic situation, but it never hurts to ask!. A nurse would be more than happy to help!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
You should have that checked!. I don't agree with your mum!. It is not a common thing!. It might be just some easily treatable infection so don't suffer and go and see the doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I had chronic bladder infections in my early late teens and 20's!. it sounds like thats what you had when it would hit me it felt like i always had to pee i would cry the urge was so intense you shouldn't be embarassed!. If you go to the dr they will give you antibiotics and a pill called Pyridium its a lil brown pll that will numb that feeling and you can actually get it at walgreen over te counter just ask!. but i would for sure get check out cuz if you don't catch it intime the bacteria will travel up to your kidneys and a Kidney infection is alot worse!

I've had this problem before after having a kidney stone removed!. I still have to pee a LOT more than most people it is somewhat embarrassing but there are thing's you can do!. My urologist gave me detrol la after my surgery and then a while after that when it was becoming bother some again he gave me oxytrol which is a patch!.
I think you should try to see a urologist!.
I've never had a bladder or kidney infection that made me have to go that bad but I DO know what it's like to have to go so badly and you just cannot hold it!. (I was about five feet from the bathroom and couldn't make it!.)Www@Answer-Health@Com
