Yes they do!. Your first visit they will do a check-up, and then you ask them about the different types of birth control!. They will give you more information about how to go with it!. Well, you go to the doctor or clinic like planned parent hood!. Tell them you want birth control, and tell them honestly when they ask you questions, they are not there to judge!. They will set up an exam day adn yes you will have to have a vaginal exam!. It is not as bad as it sounds!. Plus it is always good to know how your health is down there!. Then they will prescribe you a type of birth control that is best suited for you!. They don't make you fat or anything!. Yes, the doctor will do a pap smear before prescribing the pill just to make sure there are not problems!. A lot of girls are very nervous the first time they get this done because they don't know what to expect!. It does not hurt AT ALL and is over with almost before you even know it has started!. At the most it is slightly uncomfortable!. Just relax your pelvic muscles and count backwards!. I promise it isn't bad at all!.
