Question: Switching from Mirena IUD to the pill!?
I have had the Mirena plastic T IUD for almost three years and im sick of it!. If i switch to the Ortho Tri Cyclen Lo, will I experience the same side effects as on the Mirena!? Or any other birth control recommendations!? The patch always made me really nauseated during the 1st patch part of the cycle, and I was wondering if the Nuva Ring woud do the same thing!. Get the copper IUD, no hormonal side effects to worry about at all!. I love mine!. But yeah, you are likely to suffer side effects with any hormonal birth control method, it sucks, that's why I got the copper IUD!. DO NOT GET THE SHOT or take the POP mini pills because that is the same hormone in Mirena and you are likely to suffer the same side effects!. The ring has it's own problems, here is a website where people rate different forms of birth control, take a look at that!.
