Hey there, I am trying to concieve, and have polycsytic ovarian syndrome, I was given norethisterone to make me have a period so then I could start clomid, a fertility drug, I came on 3 days ago, but I am in SOOO much pain!.!.!. and I bleeding SOOO heavily!. I am using super absorbant tampax and I am having to change every Hour or so should I put it down to the norethisterone please help me :'( it hurts so much xxxWww@Answer-Health@Com

my friend used norethisterone on holiday and when she got her period afterwards she was up all night with incredibly bad cramps and really heavy bleeding!.
i think your pain and heavy bleeding is due to the norethisterone but i'd still call the doctor just in case!.

You should probably consult a doctor but if you took something to make you have a period I would say it is fine!. I would go buy O!.B!. Ultra absorbency tampons!.!.!. I know it may be gross to have to put the tampon in with no applicator but that is seriously the best absorbency you can find even more absorbent than the super plus ones!. I always have a heavy flow and that tampon saved my life i swear! You might want to take some midol too!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
You should talk to your fertility doctor, and explain what is going on, It could just be the side effects of the medication, but let the doctor be the one to tell you!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
