Cramps... birth control?!

Question: Cramps!.!.!. birth control!?
I have really bad cramps every time I'm on my period and I'm anemic because I lose a lot of blood during my period!. So I've done some research and discovered that birth control would help both of these problems!.!.!. but the issue is that i'm only 16 and if I say something to my mother about it she'll suppose that I'm having sex and I don't want to be accused of doing something I'm not!. Is there another solution to these problems!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
I had the same problem a year ago when i was 17!.!.i told my mom about the cramps and stuff so she took me to the doctor and she put me on the pill until i could see a gyno (it took like 3 months to get it)!. the gyno asked me some questions about my cramps (he didn't even look 'down there' or anything) the suggested I stay on a 21 day pill and take it continuously so i have no periods or cramps at allWww@Answer-Health@Com

I don't know another solution to it!. But instead of approaching your mother and asking for birth control, perhaps just approach her and tell her how severe the cramps are!. Tell her you would like to see your doctor!. Then the doctor will prescribe the pills if they truly work!. Then there's no accusations!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

hmm, well it would depend on where you live!.!.!.
where I live as long as you are 16 or older you can get a birth control prescription without parental consent!.!.!. one could go to a near-by medi center and obtain a prescription!.
Have you tried anything like midol or tylenol menstrual!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Tell your mother the reason you want to go on birth control!. She should understand that taking it doesnt mean your having sex!. You both should go to your doctor or gyno and discuss options!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
