Question: My friend has not been able to urinate for a week because it hurts!. is that dangerous!?
she told me that she has the urge to urinate but when she is about to use the bathroom, it hurts her too much, and therefore she cannot go!.!. she has not yet gone to a doctor!. is this dangerous, and does anyone know what the cause of this may be!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

She has to get antibiotics, it sounds like a urinary tract infection and if it doesn't go away it can turn into a kidney infection and she could die!. If you have any cranberry juice or cranberries she needs to drink it and also water!. the cranberry makes the lining of your bladder and urethra slippery almost so bacteria have a harder time sticking to it and multiplying!. She needs to pee, it's gonna hurt but if she doesn't its gonna get worse!. she needs to flush all that out of there, also if it's that bad it could be bloody or red!. Ive gotten rid of bladder infections before by doing that, our ancestors had to without antibiotics and they did it!. but it would be better if she gets antibiotics, its alot faster and the cranberries and flushing isn't a guarantee that it will work especially if it moves to her kidneys!. I hardly think she has not urinated in a week, if that was the case she would be septic!. However, with this said, she needs to see a doctor to cure her UTI, before her kidneys shut down and become so infected she may have to go onto a machine to get them cleared!. ok honey tell your friend to go to the hospital right now she could have a UTI,Kidney infection, bladder infection, or a Kidney stone all which can be very dangerous if left untreated and could result in sugary, infertility or worse Kidney failure resulting in death!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
