Question: Embarrassing question about going to the bathroom!?
can i ask you all how many times a day, and how many times a week you go number 2!?

i only go number 2
2 - 4 times a week!. 4 on a good week!.
i know that's not normal!.

i don't really feel constipated,
I've been like this for about 6 years!.
and i do get frequent bellyaches

what could be causing me to not use the bathroom as much!?

it has gotten worse ever since i had my son 2 years ago, and ever since i had my son i pee very frequently, even though i don't drink much!.

You may need to increase the amount of fiber you are eating, and drink more water even though you feel as if you are peeing a lot!. You need lots of fiber - 25 grams is recommended - a day, and at least 32 oz of water ( more even is better ) a day!. This would help!. You can get fiber from salads, whole grains, stuff like that!. Or, you could use metamucil or there are flavorless things like that that you could buy at the store!. Or tablets!.
The bellyaches could be from possible irritable bowel syndrome, which could be the cause of this infrequent bowel pattern!.
However, some people do only go to the bathroom 4 times a week!. But I do think that 2 times a week is kind of unusual!. And since this has been going on for 6 yrs for you, I wonder how you know that you don't feel constipated since you are used to feeling how you are feeling; do you know what I mean!? Like, how do you know that the way that you feel, the belly ache, is not constipation!?
I do not know why, though, you would be having to pee so much!. I suggest you speak with your gynecologist about this since it may be related to your childbirth experience!.

There's different opinions on how many times you should have a bowel movement per week!. Some say at least once a day, some say at least once a week, some say once every few weeks!. I personally don't think it's healthy to not have any less than 3 times per week!.

If you don't go that much during the week but you have cramping, that is a sign for constipation!. Not having a movement means that you're not getting enough nutrients or fluids, and can't excrete the toxins developing in your body!. In order to have more bowel movements, you should drink more (not just water, but juices and such!.!. not soda!), and eat more fruits and vegetables, and food with fiber!. Fiber helps loosen the bowels!.

If this problem continues, you could ask your doctor about it, as many things in your body change after you have kids!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

my fam has a bad history of intestinal problems
i dont normally go all that much
try eating more fiber, go to a health food place and get some that you can just put on your meals!.!.!.its pretty tasteless

also, you could try a colon cleanser!. even tho u may not feel constipated, you may be a little backed up lol
i used a colon cleanser for a while, it helped clear me out and has actually helped me go more often
