and i believe that sex and periods shouldnt mix as its just messy and i wouldn't feel comfortable - that's just my opinion though!. every ones opinions are different!.
the period can end quicker from sex is because if you have an orgasm during sex, then the muscles will contract quicker and more blood will come out quickly!.
i myself have not tried to have sex on my period as i wouldnt really feel comfortable with it - not a huge fan of blood - and it seems too personal!. my boyfriend completely respects this matter!.

I actually lost my virginity by having sex on my period!.
Some say ew, but some aren't bothered with it or not!.
Its not exactly like blood gushes out while having sex on your period!.
Depending on how heavy your flow is depends if its messy or if anything comes out at all!.
To me it feels actually the same as normal sex, and i didn't realise any blood until after where there was a few spots of it!.

Well, I dont have my periods often!. They come like every 6 or 7 months!. But anyways!.!. when I was on my period, and I wanted to have sex I stopped myself because one, you can get pregnant more easier!. Two, you can get more diseases easier!. And three, its kinda nasty!. Although the guys dont care!. It actually makes it easier for them if you think about it because its already wet from the blood!. So, sorry to get all detailed but hey you asked!.
